Packers Are Bracing For—Not Expecting—Potential Josh Jacobs Suspension: ‘We Can Survive That’

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Nothing is imminent in the investigation surrounding Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs, but that doesn’t mean the other shoe can’t drop at any given moment.

In the event that it does, general manager Brian Gutekunst wants to ensure that the Packers are prepared for the scenario. That includes doing his due diligence in ensuring that the team’s running back room is equipped to properly absorb the void left behind by Jacobs, who has surpassed 1,200 yards from scrimmage in each of his first two seasons in Green Bay.
