GREEN BAY, Wis. — You’d be hard-pressed to pinpoint someone who had a better Family Night than Matthew Golden.
The Green Bay Packers’ second-year wideout showed up and showed up in the team’s annual scrimmage in front of just north of 57,000 fans. Lambeau Field’s bowl was jam-packed with onlookers for what would be the Packers’ eighth practice of training camp, offering them a slight glimpse of what the 2026 version of their team has in store.
Fans, teammates, and coaches alike came away impressed with Golden’s performance. He stole the show with the Packers’ first-team offense.
“Yeah, the sky’s the limit for him,” said head coach Matt LaFleur after the practice. “He’s just got to continue to stack days and get better and better and better.”
