GREEN BAY, Wis. — A key component of the Green Bay Packers’ offense hasn’t exactly been missing in action, but it hasn’t been functioning like normal, either.
Just four games into his return from last year’s season-ending knee injury, Tucker Kraft has yet to truly look like, well, Tucker Kraft. That’s not a cause for concern, but it’s a bleak reminder of just how costly and detrimental such a significant injury—a torn anterior cruciate ligament in last year’s Nov. 2 loss to the Carolina Panthers—can be for any player, even a 25-year-old at the height of his powers.
“It speaks to the point of how important it is to play football and to practice,” said head coach Matt LaFleur on Wednesday.
