GREEN BAY, Wis. — Four different players are dealing with knee injuries on the Green Bay Packers’ first practice report of the regular season.
Three of those players—left tackle Jordan Morgan, left guard Aaron Banks, and right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele—are part of the team’s preferred starting offensive line. All three were limited participants, but their availability will be worth monitoring throughout the week. Banks and Bako-Bewele aren’t exactly surprises; their status for the Sept. 13 opener versus the Minnesota Vikings has been a popular topic of conversation and a question mark looming over the offense.

If Banks and Bako-Bewele can’t play on Sunday, the Packers will likely start fifth-round rookie Jager Burton at left guard—even though Donovan Jennings is listed as Banks’ backup—and Anthony Belton at right tackle. But there’s a long way to go until the Packers have to act on any contingency plans.
