GREEN BAY, Wis. — Only two offensive linemen are listed on the Green Bay Packers’ injury report to begin the week, which is a far cry from the usual 10.
Okay, that was hyperbole. But, indeed, the only players listed—at least for the offensive line—are Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk. They were two of the four players held out of practice on Wednesday.
Banks, the preferred starter at left guard, is in danger of missing his second consecutive game and third of the young season. He’s been managing tendinitis in his knee, but he also picked up a toe injury in the first half of the Sept. 20 win over the New York Jets. Monk has started all three games at right guard, but exited late in the fourth quarter of last Thursday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. He’s hindered by a quadriceps injury.

Edgerrin Cooper, meanwhile, is in concussion protocol, putting his availability for the Oct. 4 game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in jeopardy. He also has a shoulder injury, but neither ailment kept him out of practice entirely; he was a limited participant on Wednesday. That’s an encouraging sign that he could potentially clear protocol at some point within the next three days.
Cooper has had a stellar start to the 2026 campaign, registering a pair of sacks along with 21 tackles. Defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon has been creative with Cooper’s usage, deploying him at various positions along the defensive front, including on the edge.
The Packers’ other two non-participants were a pair of defensive tackles, Anthony Campbell and Karl Brooks. Campbell is still fighting through a nagging injury that kept him from playing against the Falcons, while Brooks has an illness.
Warren Brinson’s season debut could be on the horizon. The former sixth-round pick has yet to play a snap in the second year of his career due to a calf injury that has kept him sidelined for more than a month. He initially hurt the calf during warm-ups prior to the team’s Aug. 21 exhibition game against the Denver Broncos. The Packers are also listing him with a groin injury.
Here’s the full practice report for Wednesday.
